Yes. WTF. There are some..okay, MANY...things in life that make me say/think/yell/scream this funny little acronym (tho most of the time it's the full wording, done with clenched fists). Lets explore a few of them, shall we. Come along and join me on this wonderful journal, filled with donuts and laughter.
1) LITTLE JUICE/SODA/CHIPS/ETC LEFT IN CONTAINER - I don't get it. I mean, if you're gonna eat it down to the very bottom of the damn thing, just FINISH IT OFF. I understand if we're talking about things that can't be chiseled down (i.e. steaks, burgers, cookies) but if you're gonna eat something to the very threshold of the container, just FINISH IT OFF. I think most people do this NOT to be nice (we're not talking about the asian thing where you leave the last of something), but rather, it's so they don't have to make another batch of it. So half an inch of juice is left in a pitcher, or a couple chips are left so they don't have to buy another bag, or so little cereal is left in the bag that it's just cereal dust and maybe one raisin. and that raisin is tired. DAMN tired. And then people will break the last of something into HALF so they can leave that. And then someone will come along and do the same thing. Pretty soon you have something that's been cut in half so many times that it's damn near microscopic. JUST EAT IT YO.
2) FREAKING AGAINST A WALL - Well, the fact of the matter here is that freaking is like cilantro: you love it (if you're doing it), or you hate it (if you ain't doing it, but are forced to watch with utter jealousy). Watching someone get their freak on with a hot girl is kind of like being the boom mike guy on the porno set. Somebody is getting a little somethin' somethin', and it sure ain't you, but you have to watch nevertheless. Anyways, that's beside the point. It becomes funny when people decide to bring props into their freakin' on the dance floor, the most common being the wall. The wall can be as complex as a chain link fence, or as simple as a hand rail. Maybe the girl is just using it for stability, or maybe she's always wondered what faux velvet felt like. One thing is for sure tho: the more freaking looks like actual sex, the more funny it becomes. When a girl starts to grip the wall or drag her fingernails on it, and looks back with "that" look, now it looks ridiculous. But that's just what i'm saying, and I'm sure it's not as funny looking when you're actually in the moment.
3) LONG TSHIRTS: THE NEW FAD - Since I live in ESSJ (the "ghetto" of SJ), I am privileged to see the less fancier side of fashion. I would really like to know with what is up with the whole fad of wearing tshirts that are extra long. I remember when I was a younger, it was the "in" thing to do to wear baggy shirts, but this is different. The fad these days is to wear shirts that are not necessarily baggy, but just LONG. Like so long that you look like you're wearing an adult version of those long tshirts that kids wear when they go to bed. It looks fucking STUPID. Like I saw this guy walking down the street. Blue jeans, white tshirt, white shoes. Sounds okay, right? But the tshirt was so long that it went down to his knees, and the sleeves went down to just above his wrists. Remember, these tshirts aren't baggy, they're just long.
to be continued...
My perspective is a blog better make you laugh or make you think. I'm trying to keep it real while keeping it funny. Life isn't always humorous, but one's perspective on it can and should always be. Heavy on the funny, heavy on the sarcasm.

Back from SD. It was a cool trip. Cool for several reasons:
1) Roberto's - I haven't eaten roberto's in over a year. YO that shit was good. I got the old combo i used to get whenever i went there: 2 rolled tacos, a beef taco and a tostada. I also had half a carne asada burrito. Hot carrots (to be healthy). YO. that's all I gotta say. Y-O. I know Shan feels me on that one. foREALZ.
2) Friends - I chilled with more people than I expected, especially since I thought all of my time was going to be taken up by my class. The night before I headed back, I hung out with quite a number of people, and it certainly reminded me of what life was like when I was still in SD. It was bittersweet, definitely. It was good to see everyone while I was down there
3) Reiki - I took a Reiki class, and am now a Level 1 Reiki practitioner. This means I am now able to give treatments to both myself and more importantly to others. Reiki is a healing art, although I'm hesitant to use the word "healing" because it makes people believe that it is a cure-all. Reiki is a balancing art - it brings balance to your body - physically, emotionally, spiritually. I became interested in this after hearing about it from my aunt - she helped my mom with a sore knee, me with my stress levels, and especially with my uncle when he was going through treatment for cancer. I was very much impressed by my uncles situation because he did not get sick, his hair did not fall out, and my parents told me he looked exactly the same.
After getting a treatment, I felt extremely relaxed and calm. My lower back hurt less, and I felt a lot more mentally awake. If anyone is interested, I am always happy to give a treatment.
This pass week has given me a chance to grow, significantly. Words are simply words, however, so I don't feel the need to dictate the details of how i'm different or how i've grown, etc. One's inner dialogue should stay within because there is where it is the most valuable.
Though we are all unique, we are united by the simple fact that we all deserve to be happy in life.

Can someone please tell me why you would sup up your car if you are going to drive like an asian grandma with boxes tied to her feet like Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom? Today on the way to work, I was stuck behind a rice rocket who i would soon leave in the dust, while i was going a speedy 35 mph. There is nothing more irritating than sitting behind such a car, expecting them to take off like a bolt of lightening and then doing a "tokyo drift" around the corner, and then instead having them slowly creep forward, hitting a top speed of 30 while their exhaust kid rumbles for attention. Then as I drive past this person, i look over and i see an asian girl, driving slumped forward with her mouth open. People like this should be forced to put "student driver" on their cars permanently.
I recently discovered two things at work: free filtered water. Score. and free coffee. Double score. We'll ignore the fact that the coffee comes from a vending machine and that it tastes a little better than the first cup of coffee I ever made using instant junk. It's FREE and it has caffine. Besides, a coworker warned me that if I ever needed to remove rust from anything, I should use the coffee from that vending machine. Werd. So apparrently I'm drinking the Steel Reserve of the coffee world. Now, I could pay 60 cents for a bottle of water, or 1.57 for a cup of better coffee but please, I'm not that yuppie. Besides, I dont want to risk spilling the good stuff on my cardigan sweat-ah.
So like I said. I'm going down to SD this weekend. But I'm going for a seminar/class. So I won't have a lot of time to chill with folks. That's why I neglected to tell anyone. I didn't want to hurt any feelings, but then I realized that I need to have friends down there in order for anyone to feel hurt (ZING!! YOW!!!) lol. i kid i kid. Should I go to pbbg? lol. no way.

work work work work work work and more work. It's been a long week, and I could sure use a drink right about now. That and a nap that lasts at least 6 hours.

Here I am, standing on the edge of this dance floor. Nervousness fuels the hesitation in my head, and these legs of mine just simply refuse to move.
If the song was right, if the moment was right, if she was by herself, I don't like this kind of music, she'll say no. Theres a million reasons for me not to keep leaning against this wall, and I'm buying every single one of them.
Somewhere in the back of my head, there's an urge to throw my worries to the wind and ask her to dance, or at least to move to the center of the dance floor and maybe stop caring so damn much. But that's what it means to be a wallflower, watching the world from a distance and wishing you were a part of the action.
The only action I put forth is the regret that I have, the woulda coulda shoulda's
A subjective perspectve in life, as it seems that as soon as you feel that you're in the middle of the the crowd you look up and realize you're only at the edge of yet another dancefloor. It seems so easy to lose yourself in the music...so why is it so difficult to get myself out there? Why is it so hard for me to put my hand out and ask her if she'd like to spend a few minutes with me, trying forget her troubles for just a moment of her day?
So if you see me standing on the edge of the dancefloor, it's not because I don't want to dance. In actuality, it's all I ever dream of.

When all you gotta keep is strong,
move along
move along like i know you do.

this is life, right? life is like..this big scale of ups and downs. Somewhere admist the chaos tho..you find peacefulness..the eye of the hurricane, and things just feel right.
But within that eye, sometimes you feel the need to reach out. Chaos is something actually happening, and tho it may mean that it can bring something horrible, it's still worth the risk because a calm life is also an uneventful one.
Just make sure you stay close to that calm center, lest you loose your bearings and become lost.

Wedding. Mr and Mrs. Aaron Timbol made official.
I gotta say, getting dressed up is coo. I dig it. Gave me a chance to wear the suit. Makes me feel somewhat mature. Everyone looked fuckin' pimp or beautiful, that's for sure. Lookin' at my friends made me realize how much we've all grown -- tho I guess that was inevitable since I WAS at a friend's wedding.
Btw, Michael Buble and Frank Sinatra is good music to play when you're putting a suit on. Makes you feel like...suave fo sho. Makes you wanna look at your refection in the mirror, wink, and shoot a point at yourself. "Damn I look good. Sheeeeeiiittt." In fact, if I could have a band follow me around a play "Feeling Good" by Michael Buble every time I put on a suit..well, damn homie.
The wedding was awesome. Both bride and groom were beaming and Shan gave a great speech, especially when she started crying, because it totally showed the happiness she had for Jen and Aaron. I think her speech was the best, but that's just my personal bias yo. During the ceremony, they had this harp player who played the music. Lemme just say that it was PERFECT. Like at my wedding I either want a string quartet or a harp player. There will also be a DJ with lots of FUNK.
The food was GOOD YO. The potatoes were BOMB, the STEAK was like WHAT. The service was good, pickin up plates as soon as were done. I missed out on the CAKE, which Vivi told me was hella good, so DAMMIT. I didn't even know they were serving it cuz I was too busy dancing. RATS. It's okay. It'll help with the flab control.
The table I sat at was cool, as I was sitting with all my buddies. Someone had brought a bottle of Henny too, so we enjoyed that, all the way to the bottom. BryanT provided the laughs, as well as filled the wedding camera with lots of memories that i'm sure the Timbols will want to forget, but won't be able to (i.e. crotch shot). lol.
So yes, the entire wedding was nice. I'm looking forward to when any of my other friends get married.
Near the end...um, not to ruin any goodness about the whole day, but lets just say that some people need to really learn tact. I was so close to trying out my ear theory too! darn. And, said in nothing but humor, people need to learn that you DON'T mess with krage. I don't think people of other nationalities understand. KRAGE is like the nuclear bomb of all races. You may think hahaha as you're throwing it around, but don't get mad when a second later ur completely fucked up and you wonder what hit you just before you die in a hail of kicks, punches, and bulogi. lol.
Went home early and did some chores after my parents went to sleep. They looked tired. Now i'm sitting here contemplating the current stuffs that i'm contemplating, dealing with. I hate chilling at home by myself, not cuz I dont like being alone, but the weekend freedom needs to be SQUEEZED out. It's hard when everyone is so busy and has other stuff to take care of tho. oh wellz.

This wedding made me realize a couple things. One, I realized how much I still (lol "still") enjoy hanging out with the friends that I have up here. It was great seeing everyone in this setting because it made me realize that having people like this in your life - good friends who can make you laugh, good friends who you can cry with, who help you live your life to the fullest - is truly something wonderful. I realized today that I can have fun with all these people even if we're sitting in a blank room watching paint dry. Friends can make any situation better. And so events like this, one's wedding, which is already an A+ when it comes to enjoyment, is turned into a A+++ when your friends are around. Two, I was reminded of a project while talking to jonathan. It was something that I had wanted to do for a long time. But the parameters of the project were too large, but I feel the content of the project is worth saying, so I'm shrinking down the parameters way down, to the people that are currently in my closer circle.
I'll start that tomorrow probably. If you aren't one of my bay area friends, you probably won't care what it's about.
- - -
Tomorrow is Sunday. I was going to work, but fuck it. I don't want to. I hope something comes up. Maybe I'll invite myself over to Jen and Aaron's and eat some of their wedding cake. yeeeeaaaaahh BOY!
i need to do more stuff...this calmness is getting boring...

Working from home tomorrow will be harder than working at the office because I now realize that I will work a lot harder if i'm away from home. It's kind of like trying to do school work at home. It doesn't work. Unfortunately I need to stay at home, or I needto go to someplace that has free wi-fi, cuz I need to be online the whole day. oh wells. At least i can straight bum it in shorts and old tshirt.
FUCK. I hate crushes. No really, sounds dumb right? But crushes are fun if you're a girl and your chances of getting your crush to notice you is higher. Crushes are fun if you got game, good looks, and a personality that makes girls smile at the very thought of you. If you AINT, well then sonny, a crush is nothing but a painful hope. It's like the really fat kid who wants really wants to hula hoop...AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN YO.
But I, stricken with my emotional highs and grand thoughts of how wonderful it is to be in the presence (and to be the fancy of) a girl that makes your knees week and your stomach quiver, can't help myself. And what is worse than having "A" crush? Well, probably to have crushES. So why is this a pain in the ass, or the heart (ho ho ho)? Well, being how i am, how i think, how i look, how i act, how i exist, etc. etc. etc. I always find myself having to put all my focus on ONE girl. It can't be two, or three, or four, or five (poor girls). No. It has to be one. Why? Why?? Why??? I don't know. And so eventually I get frustrated because how do i put them in some kind of "order"? I can't! And then i just say forget it. Or rather, I'll have done all this worrying and shit for nothing because either
1) nothing will happen due to timing
2) nothing will happen cuz i'm in the friendzone, they dont think of me "like that" (I'm too much of pansy, a shoulder to cry on), or "I'm too good for them" (the WORST rejection line ever...i'd rather be told i'm fucking ugly and a piece of garbage than be fed this line of obvious bullshit ever again). All of this is because i excude the friend vibe (aka I talk to much about how i'm feeling, act too much like a friend, and am WAY too nice)
3) they themselves have a crush on another guy who is so far ahead of me in terms of leagues that it's i'm a little league player going against a professional.
4) they're superficial, bitchy, or somehow they arent what i'm looking for in a girl. This is hilarious to me because i need to take what i can fucking get, but i think i do this because it's easier for me to just give up and say forget it.
5) they're actually a man, and i've made a horrible horrible mistake.
Anyways, so i'm digressing. Anyways, I don't wanna keep talkin' like having a crush or crushes are a pain the ass, or like for me to have them is about as pointless as the president of the math club trying to get a date with the head cheerleader. Crushes are cool because they're harmless -- I mean a relationship, and even a date, can have negative stuff associated with it. But a crush is something else...in our peasized brains, we change and arrange a crush to be almost perfect..just enough flaws to make them interesting, but enough perfection to make us wanna keep looking their way, even when it's obvious they're not looking at you, but the giant ad behind you for the macy's sale going on next week. A crush in a small sense does wonders for anyone..especially me. It gives me yet another reason to get up in the morning, to keep doing the best I can do, and most importantly, to help me strive for something and have confidence in myself.
I just wish it was all easier, but then again, anything involving girls is complicated (and they can certainly say the same things about us, cuz we ain't no picnics either) but if it wasn't difficult, then it wouldn't mean a lot.
All this talk about relationships has made me hungry. Time for a lean pocket and 100 pushups. Word to your mother's uncle twice-removed.
6 more days till jen/aaron's wedding! Fuck yeah! An excuse to dress up! I like it. Well, either that or i'm gonna go in straight jeans and a tshirt so i can get down on the dance floor all comfy like. lol. jk

I had a fucking cool ass dream last night. Check it out:
So I was driving my mom to some other city, I can't remember where, and all of a sudden i hit this HUGE amount of traffic. Turns out there was a car accident that had somehow burst a dam or something, and had flooded the streets. Weird thing was, it only flooded ONE street that was kind of in a ditch. So when I got to the flooded part, there was a sign that said "cars under 7 feet not allowed". But my mom said, okay just go. So I started to go, but my car started floating away. So I hit the gas and I guess the tires started acting like propellars because we started moving forward. The only problem was there was a construction fence on the other side or the "flood" so i bounced off the damn thing when I was trying to get my car back up on dry land. Finally I got up on the other side, and we kept driving.
Now, we meet up with some of my parents friends, and my dad has suddenly appeared in the car as well. Anyways, we park and they all want to eat and I remember that there's this secret in-and-out place that I know of, but it's in a weird place. So we go to this apartment complex and there's this ordinary looking door....it pretty much looks like any other door at the complex. But it has this weird kind of joystick looking handle. So you have to enter a code to get into this in and out, and so I try a random code that i remember, and it works! You wanna know what code I tried? THE KONAMI CODE!!! Isn't that sick??????? Anyways, so we get inside and it's hella weird..it looks exactly like an old school apt that has been tranformed into a in-and-out as best as possible. They even have a small counter. The weird thing about this in and out is they served breakfast too...I think was going to get a Consumer's Cracklin' Grill, which was two eggs, hash browns, potatoes, fried shrimp, and steak? Pancakes too. It was going to be 10.99. But then when I went to go order it, these fuckers cut in front of me. So then I took a number and I got back in line and when i finally ordered, the lady said, okay that's going to be about an hour and a half wait for your food. And I said aight just give me a double double. She said, same amount of wait time. And I said, okay well, how bout anything that i can eat now. She says, well, everything is going to be about an hour and a half. I look back and there's a shitload of customers waiting. Great. So i say, aight i'm just gonna go. Thanks for nothing. So I go back to my table, where my parents and their friends have already eaten and I say, aight lets go. So we leave and I'm hella pissed, and that's when I say "k, now i have get some dinner". Except i was starting to wake up...so I said it in real life. I woke up immediately and got something to eat. Werd.
i have three recoccuring things that happen in my dreams that piss me off.
1) I'm driving a car that I have very little control over. It usually manifests itself with an inability to control the car with the steering wheel (onetime I dreamt I was driving a car where I was trying to steer from the back seat) or the breaks are really really shitty (i have the break pedel to the floor and it's slowing down SUPER slow).
2) I'm going to class, but I can't remember what my schedule of classes are, AND when I finally get there, I dont have the work that's due.
3)I loose things. I loose my wallet, my keys, my glasses, my luggage, my shoes, my pants, the people I'm with. EVERYTHING. I hate it.
I also this past week I had: the most disgusting dream i've ever had, and the most disturbing dream i've ever had. I wish I could flush both from my mind.
